Basta ganun.

Hehe

Episode 1: The Black Wing
“Hey old lady, how much does an apple cost?”
“That would be 5 Arkas each…”
“Then how much it would be if I'll take all 5 crates of apples here? Hehehe”
“Well, uhm..”
“Nah, don’t try to think about it! ‘Cause I’m taking ‘em all for FREE! Hahahaha!”
It is just a typical day in Arkadia. A typical day where its residents are being tortured once again. Nothing new. It happens everyday like a daily routine that they need to follow in order to survive in this stinking country. Resistance to the authority will only mean “death” for them.
Gangsters are all over the dusty and hot public market once again and wreaking havoc store-by-store. They kept on snatching every valuable item that they want. It's just an ordinary day. Nothing new. It has always been like this. No one really cares. But a silent vigilante is watching. An unsung hero who's being overshadowed by the Penumbrian force all this time. And he’s lurking from a roof of a certain establishment right now, while watching over the gang.
“Look brother, this lady is one tough bitch to crack!”
“No mister, please don’t take it! We need the money!”
“C’mon, bro! Teach this lady some manners!”
And as the gangster was about to hit the old lady, the shady vigilante jumped in front of him and blocked the blow with his broken sword; a sword known as the Resurgam. He looked up, stared at the surprised face of the grunt and grinned like he is being amused by a stupid, pathetic clown.
“Now, what? You came here just to hurt this old woman?” the vigilante said while staring at the eyes of the gangster. He stared sharply, as if it was sharp enough to stab the heart of the bully.
“I guess you should find a better match for you. Here – I’ll volunteer!”
“W-What the hell? Is that…the RESURGAM?!”
The gangster became horrified at the sight of the only person who can wield the Resurgam skillfully despite of it being broken in two; where the other half of the legendary blade nowhere to be found. It was only him. It was Bradley.
Bradley grinned once again. “I guess I need to introduce myself better, shall I begin?”
Each member started to realize that the “Bradley” they are facing is the same “Bradley Cross” who organized a rebellious group a couple of years back, also known as the “Aegrisomnia”
Aegrisomnia – a word meaning: “a sick man’s dreams”, operated as a secret group of rebels whose goal is to eliminate the corrupt officials of both Arkadia and Penumbra and thwart their evil plans so that they can unite both regions and eliminate the racial discrimination being shown to Arkadia. Bradley was known as the “Black Wing” in this group. But time came when one of Bradley’s members betrayed them and secretly told the Penumbra officials of their goals. Upon hearing the news, Bradley disbanded the group forever and started operating on his own since then; to assault Penumbra and to kill the traitor.
The gang boss named “Neib”, stepped in to confront Bradley as all of his brainless cronies are starting to chicken out.
"And who are you? Some kind of superhero living in a deserted area like this? Hehe!”
“Think you’re funny, fatso?” Bradley replied in an impish tone.
“B-Boss…wait a sec. T-That guy is a menace! Step back. Leave this one to us!”
"So, what?! Nobody messes with the Black Skull Gang!" Neib said while keeping his sarcastic grin on his ugly, evil face. "You’re dead meat, boy!” Neib rushed forward and attacked Bradley, regardless of what the gang member revealed.
“Grrraaahh!” Neib yelled while swinging his spiked club, hitting nothing but air.
“Hmpft…I guess you need to shed some of your slabs right now…”
Bradley, with his great reflexes, dodged the attack and gave him a counter-blow to the back of his head. A wallop from the Resurgam so hard, that it feels like snapping Neib’s spine. He's out. The boss fell flat on his face, unconscious, but still alive. Bradley then turned around to face the gangsters.
“Listen to me, sissies. If you still have plans on staying here any longer, I will crush your leader’s head!”
The gangsters carried their pathetic leader and left the place immediately. The people gazed in awe upon seeing the bullies leave. Bradley prepares to leave when he suddenly spotted a shady person lurking behind a stack of wooden boxes.
“Hey you! Stay right th…!” Bradley, with all of his might, tried to grasp the shady person but suddenly disappeared. He looked around, but to no avail. And then suddenly, “Hey, what is this trash?”
The shady person left a piece of paper on the ground with something written on it:
“To liberate Arkadia, we have to
eliminate the Black Wing first”
“Oh crap…” Bradley uttered.
What an odd message. Only a few souls have heard about that codename... Could that person be the traitor he is pursuing? No way. Bradley left the market and decided to retreat to his small house. He started thinking of a plan – a plan to sneak in on Penumbra and eliminate them one by one. But Penumbra is too large and heavily guarded by its military forces. He couldn’t do it alone. There were no answers yet. But there has to be one.
There has to be.
“That’s it…this is getting lamer after each and every day…”
Bradley gave up on thinking and decided to call the day off. Bradley fell asleep, with the candles still lit on.
